Reflection blog about my differentiation abilities.

Differentiation????? what is this word for??? In past but now it means a lot to me

I have never tried differentiation in my beginning of my professional career until I joined The Winchester School. In past I did not even think how to differentiate in class according to students' abilities because I myself was too new to the teaching profession. After all it is all about learning  and enhancing your skills during the course of time. It was 2011 when I actually started differentiation in my class according to students' abilities, needs, learning style etc. However I was not familiar with the system and traits but I was learning.
Present: Can not imagine that I am learning too many activities where actually I can use differentiated tasks in my daily lessons. Thanks to CICT lessons and different theories of learning.

Future: It is all about how you use it effectively in your lessons so for that I will gather evidence from my assessment records. I will use different learning style which caters my different learners, different questioning strategies, differentiated tasks etc.

Questioning Strategies which I have learnt.

Hello guys let's talk about different questioning strategies which you can use in your class straight way. Below mentioned some of the strategies.

1.Open and Closed Questions
2.General and Directed Questions
3.Wait time
4.Bounce questions around
5.Phone a friend
6.SCAMPER
7.Preview Questions
8.Eavesdropping
9.5Ws and 1H

I do use a lot of the 5Ws & 1H; however, however I am planning to use in my class?????? Here you go!!!
A different QUESTIONING STRATEGY!!?
Will try the phone a friend and Bounce questions around. All the best to myself.

My Classroom Experiences....

All about my students' learning, in my class mostly I try my best to make it lively and more into active learning but somehow I was not able to deliver up to my expectations. Here you go my CICT classes began, after my CICT sessions I have started enriching my knowledge, teaching style, my role and important elements of my teaching style etc. The activities which I do and learn in my CICT sessions are noteworthy and above all shows active learning in sessions. I always try to use those activities wherever it suits to my subjects and topics and somehow it gives me immense satisfaction in my class which gives me different experiences of my own class. Moreover I can see the change in my self, personality, teaching style, my role etc.

Would like to learn more and more to cater my learners and enrich them with learning.

Why I chose to become a teacher.

I chose to become a teacher:

There are many reasons but will keep my writing very brief and focus on important points.

Firstly in my life I had an aim that whichever field allows me to earn money that is my interest and finally I became a teacher. Although I thought about money but I did not realize when I fell in love with the teaching profession. When I joined TWS I was very new to curriculum teaching styles etc. and here i realized more about the value of teacher and teaching. I have mentioned few points which allow me to love my profession.
  • I love to nurture and show them bright, true path of their lives.
  • I feel rejoiced when they learn new things.
  • I like to develop their critical thinking.
  • Shaping the future of the world.
  • Creating independent learners who can face and shape the future.
  • Teach them how to think out of box.
  • Cater them according to their learning adaptations,
  • I learn many things from my young learners,
That is why I chose to become a teacher and I enjoy, love whatever I do for my learners.
